The Sudbury Triathlon 2025
This year the Sudbury Triathlon will take place on Sunday 21st September 2025. The event will offer:
Sprint Distance Triathlon (Swim 400m, Bike 23km, Run 5km)
Sprint Distance Triathlon - Relay (Swim 400m, Bike 23km, Run 5km)
Aquathlon (Swim 400m, Run 5km)
Aquabike (Swim 400m, Bike 23km)
Join us in Celebrating 10 Years of TRISudbury
On Sunday, 21st September 2025, TRISudbury are hosting a triathlon for all abilities. The Sudbury Triathlon is one of the most competitive yet inclusive and family-friendly events in the region, it is the triathlon for you, regardless of whether you are new to triathlon or keen to lock down a sprint triathlon PB.
A 400 metre swim in the newly refurbished, heated open air pool at Great Cornard Leisure Centre.
A 23km cycle around a loop following the Stour from Cornard to picturesque Bures and its Dragon before returning via the orchards of Assington and golfers of Newton Green.
A 5km run almost entirely off-road taking in the stunning scenery of the Great Cornard Country Park before returning to the leisure centre and our traditionally well supported finish line.
Relay, Aquabike (swim/bike) and Aquathlon (swim/run) options are also available.
All finishers will receive a medal and a t-shirt. There will be trophies for the open and female categories and relay teams as well as for age categories.
